For newsrooms
The syndicated “how they voted” column ran in local papers for fifty years. Its longtime supplier shut down in January 2025. This is that feature, rebuilt — with the analysis layer the old chart never had, free, and always current.
What you get
- The weekly delegation widget — one iframe per state: the week's consequential votes, every one of your delegation's positions, party-crossings flagged, every number linked to the official roll call. It updates itself; quiet weeks show the freshest voting week instead of an empty box.
- Analysis your stringer can't do at 5 p.m. — every vote carries a plain-English “why it matters”: decided by two votes; these three members crossing decided it; the majority party lost. Computed from margins and each member's own voting history, with the method published.
- Member record pages — a linkable page per member: their votes against party, their close votes, the cycle's salient bills.
- A JSON API and CSV exports for anything you'd rather build yourself.
What this is not
No AI-written copy. Nothing here generates prose for your pages — it is structured public records plus arithmetic, with citations. You write the story; every claim is one click from the official record at clerk.house.gov or senate.gov.
